Former Syrian Commando Sentenced For Killing New Zealand Man
Former Syrian commando Mr. Mohamad Shanar was sentenced to 9 years in Thai prison for killing Mr. Charles Edmund of New Zealand in 2011. He was pleaded guilty to murder, burglary, illegal entry into Thailand and possession of knife. The murder took place in Mr. Charles Edmund's condo in Jomtien, Pattaya, Thailand

Pattaya Getting High Speed Train By 2018
Pattaya is expected to get a high speed train from Bangkok to Pattaya by 2018. It will take about 5 years to complete. It will travel at 250 kilometres per hour. The government will open bid to build the train service very soon. This high speed train is part of the government's 2 trillion Baht infrastructure agenda. The Thai parliament hopes to get approval this month

Pattaya Police Arrest Elderly Swiss Drug Dealer
A Swiss man was arrested in Pattaya yesterday for selling drugs. He is a 61 year old Swiss national living a a rented room. He said he was only using the drugs for his personal use, but the police don't believe him. He will be charged with consuming and selling drugs illegally

German Man Found Dead In Jomtien Luxury Condo
A 56 year German was found Dead in his Jomtien Condo yesterday. Police said they found sex toys and sex pills in the condo. He was found naked on his bed. He was not beaten or any property taken from condo. The building security guard said he had many gay men stay at his condo. Police think he had heart attack from too many sex pills. The German Embassy in Bangkok has been notified and an autospy will be done to confirm why he died

Russian Man Found Dead In Rented Room
A Russian man age 34 years old was found dead in a rented room above a massage shop. The Russian's friend who was staying with him found him lying dead in the bathroom floor next to the toilet. His friend said he was drinking a lot before he went to sleep. When the friend awoke he found him dead. An autopsy will be done and the Russian Embassy in Bangkok has been informed
Israeli Tourist Dies In Pattaya Hotel With Bar Girl
A 57 year old Israeli tourist dies in a Pattaya Hotel room with a Bargirl. The Israeli tourist met the girl in a Pattaya beer bar. The 25 year old Pattaya Bar girl agreed to go to his hotel for sex. Shortly after arriving at hotel he feel asleep and died. When police arrived at hotel they found a man lying naked on bed. The police said their was no sign of him being beaten or any cash or property taken from hotel room. It's believed he died from heart problems. The body will be sent for autopsy to confirm why he died.

Russian Man Murdered In Pattaya Hotel Room
A 39 year old Russian man was found murdered and strangled in central Pattaya hotel room yesterday. The dead Russian man was named Andrei Komarov from St. Petersburg Russia. Police say a fight happened in room with blood on walls and floor and coming from Russian man's face. His wallet was gone with cash. Hotel staff found him as he was overdue to check out of room. Hotel staff also said he took many Thai women up to room along with other Thais and foreigners. Police are still investigating murder.
